In the Beginning, God said…

NEW ORLEANS (by Ferdie Werdie) —
In the beginning, God said: I play the trumpet.
In 1967, Louis Armstrong said: No kidding? You too?
In 2014, Ryan Seacrest said: I play the clarinet…
Go figure! Hahaha…

Here is Ferdie practicing for a gig this weekend on his INSTRUMENT OF THE LORD.

Ferdie Werdie

People often ask me, “Ferdie, what do you dream about? What comes up mostly in your dreams”? I tell them that often I dream about loved ones and relatives who have passed away. I often have vivid dreams where loved ones visit me in my dreams, and we have in-depth long conversations. I also have many, vivid, lively dreams about fine, lovely young ladies; some of whom I do not even know. I wake up truly feeling like I had just spent time with these ladies. I have even subsequently met some of these dream girls in real life. Unbelievable! They often look just like from my dreams. In fact, beginning over 30 years ago I used to dream about the very house that I live in now. I wrote a book in 2002 I HAVE A DREAM about living in this exact house. Who would have even imagined back then that I would now be living in this house. Out of the blue, I was offered to buy this house in 2007.

Ferdie Werdie is Editor

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — As the editor of the Delery Gazette I originate and write my stories at www.FerdieWerdie.com I am thinking every day about stories that my readers will find interesting. Click the button below in the right, bottom corner to enlarge my newsfeed to read:

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is turning 30 years-old soon; and he is deciding on changes with Facebook that will also show growth similar to his maturity.

Also, now with spring having sprung, I plan to write some lovely stories about fun in the sun.

Yes! Fun in the sun.

Yes! Fun in the sun.

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Is New Orleans Number 1? I studied the tweet below, and clicked to the story because it caught my interest.

Nicole Kidman Among Best

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Looking for Nicole Kidman’s latest movie. I read that her movies have earned more than $3 billion in her career. I truly hope that she wins an Academy Award for her latest releasing film Grace of Monaco which opens in 2014. I flipped through the list of her movies Kidman Movies Filmography and came to realize that Nicole is a “beast” in the movie industry. Her work is marvelous. I think (and hope) that her performance in Grace of Monaco will again show the world that she is at the top of the list.

Speaking of movies, I need to once again make another push for one of my books to be picked up as a movie. In fact, I have been writing and working on publishing a screenplay for one of my books. I have had some nibbles and inquiries about doing a movie about one of my books. How do they say? ..I have to put my shoulder to the grind in order to step up to the next level.

Have you ever wondered why crocodiles have existed on earth for so many millions of years? Scientists believe that their intelligence and keen sense of survival have paved the path for crocodiles to be one of the longest living species on earth.

#Peggy’s Painting

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Below is a painting in the developmental stage being created by my sister, #Peggy, which she is posting as she goes. I thought that it might be interesting for some of my readers to also see it as it develops. I have been planning to buy an easel also for me, myself and I for some time now.

Here is what Peggy said recently:

In other art news, the Arabian State of Qatar recently purchased a Paul Cézanne painting, The Card Players, for more than $250 million. “The deal, in a single stroke, sets the highest price ever paid for a work of art and upends the modern art market,” said Vanity Fair. This sale more than doubles the previous record paid for a work of art.

Bought for $250M by Arabian State of Qatar.

By the way, on my way home just now I almost stopped at one of my favorite stops for that good ol’, N’Awlins home-style eating; but I opted for a place closer along my route. Also, I am somewhat on the Master Cleanse fast for a while. So, I thought that all the bread and meat that I usually eat at Parkway should wait for another day.

Time To Hit The #PanicButton

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — Is that a #PanicButton or is it THE BIG ONE? Too funny. What is that red button? I bought a toy red panic button years ago which gave off the sound of a real emergency alarm when you pressed it. I pressed it every time my girl friend acted “stupid” :). One day I came home and it was GONE! I knew that she threw it away. It had TOTALLY DISAPPEARED. I loved my panic button so much. Now, she has totally disappeared too 🙂 :). Why? Why, oh why did she leave me? BooHoo!

Red Button

I have tried several times since I lost my panic button to buy another toy panic button like the one I had. Cannot find one! Maybe I can Google search on the Internet to see if anyone still makes a nice toy panic button like that one with such a great emergency alarm like that. I loved it!! I could aggravate the hell out of people with it. Plus, whenever I was totally stressed out, I would press my panic button and it would help out every time because it made me laugh since the alarm sounded so real.

What a Nice #Party

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — I am remembering a recent party at which I had a grand ol’ time. In fact, everyone had a grand ol’ time. There is a short video of me that I may add to this post in the next day or so. It will make you laugh. I have to decide if the video makes me look like a defect, at which point I may decide not to post it.

Everyone is standing in line above in order to enter into the festivities. They do not realize yet what fun is in store for them. I plan to put up more pics soon. Plus, below, here is a thought for Tuesday afternoon after the New Orleans Saints big victory last night.

Speaking of New Orleans (haha), I read this afternoon that drinking beer may be good for your bones. Isn’t that great news for New Orleanians?

@BIGheadCREOLE Spouts #Wisdom

I recently read a tweet by my nephew #@BIGheadCREOLE and wanted to know if his words were true. Albert Einstein created the theory of relativity. Maybe @BIGheadCREOLE has come up with a new theory that might make him famous. Will his theory stand the test of time?

Plus, I found another one of his tweets that I am studying. I think that it is very deep, but I will have to ask him about it next time I see him. This tweet might be deep, but it might also show some real tenderness. I cannot tell.

In other news from around the world, I read a story this morning about a case of modern-day slavery which has been occurring in Wales. From time to time we do hear about instances of slavery in different parts of the world. In fact, such hidden cases may be more prevalent than anyone could imagine.

WHO DAT Fever

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — I am too happy going into Monday morning. Yes, I am in ecstasy. The New Orleans Saints are 3-0, baby. Next Monday on Monday Night Football, the Saints meet the Miami Dolphins who are also undefeated at 3-0. I cannot wait for the game. FIREWORKS, baby!!

Yes, this should be a nice long week of WHO DAT happiness. Next week, either the Saints or the Dolphins will be closing out Monday Night Football at 4-0. Hold onto your hats, Who Dat fans. Geaux Saints!

In other news, the U.S. Postal Service has created a stamp for icon musician Ray Charles.
