DELERY GAZETTE (Oct 1, 2026) — These are 2 of my granddaughters who are now in college (L) and high school (r). Their sister (the middle one, Dori) is now in high school. She is always busy outside enjoying sports or in the back yard in the middle of a project.  Since we are in “festival season” in Louisiana, I will bring a sack of crawfish, a sack of crabs and my crawfish boiling pot and burner to their house for them to boil a delicious seafood boil for me and them.

Women who heard about my book eventually piled up on me and “flipped the script” in order to win the rubber match (like Ali’s Thrilla In Manilla, except I lost). Now that I am old, I am not driving women crazy. I stay locked up in my house, dreaming and longing for the good old days. I might write a new book before I die and maybe call it WOMEN WERE FERDIE’S DOWNFALL!

Also, I am very interested in writing about the climate in this country that Donald Trump has brought upon us. I do not know if any president has ever taken America so close to the brink. Anyway…

This lady is fine, and I have become  a big fan of hers. She might be on a series on TV presently, but I do not know the name of the show. I am waiting to see if she comes out in any movies in the near future. Her star is rising.

This is another foxy lady whom I admire. I have not seen her much on the Internet lately, but I will search to see if she retired or what. I used to see her regularly enough on the Internet. If I can find out some information on her, I will come back in and let you know. Maybe, she retired.

Cajun Country

I was born in Cajun Country. I am looking right now for the map that showed me this. VOILA! Here it is. Cajun Country is highlighted in gold. Yes, I was solidly born in Cajun Country.

They say Cajun Country is highlighted in gold. I want to write about other maps that I saw.

No! No! No!

I see problems with the red in this map ⬇️. We need a debate. The map in gold above is the first map that I pulled up. I would like to open a thread on Twitter or somewhere to open the dialogue in order to confirm definitions. Acadiana and Cajun Country may have inherently different basic definitions. Did “foreigners” align the map in red?

Oh, my goodness! This Louisiana tradition of having crawfish with the Easter meal is something that is popular. I do not know when it started, but I see it widespread on Easter Sunday. I surely had crawfish with me Easter Sunday meal this year.

What Am I Thinking About?

NOTE: I have stuff to say about what I was thinking during the snapping of the picture posted below ⬇️, and will write more after the game. UPDATE: I am studying the truth of whether the phrase “the pen is mightier than the sword” is a proven fact. With all of the current deaths (including many children) in Iran caused by U.S. strikes, I wonder if the old saying about the pen is accurate.

GAZETTE (March 10, 2026) — I will explain (№1) what I was thinking during this picture, and (№2) the results of my study of whether or not the pen is mightier than the sword. For now, I have to remember why people say that the pen is so powerful. I will get back to you. I am simultaneously watching CNN NEWS which is reporting on some BREAKING NEWS.

Pen Mightier Than Sword

Again, I just had to mention that I recently saw in a Popeye cartoon on TV that the show had a diverse cast. See a minority in the picture in the bottom row, left. Back in those early years, there usually was no effort made to throw a minority in the mix.

Then, I wanted to say that one of my favorite foods is soft shell crab. Delicious!

This ⬇️ is another soft shell crab platter that I bought. Yummy! It was delicious. You do not know what you missed.
