Diajelle and National Honor Society

My oldest granddaughter Diajelle’s grandmother MiMi (my ex-wife) asked me to print this certificate out to give to her mother (my ex-mother-in-law). Diajelle (who makes 17 this weekend) was selected as a member of the National Honor Society. She is also very thoughtful and kind to her grandfather, me.

I have started mixing my martinis with the real James Bond martini recipe. I twerk the recipe a little bit to fit my taste.

In other news, My lingering question about Fox News is: After fine, sexy-legged Gretchen Carlson of Fox News lost her contract with Fox, where does that pretty cutie-pie work now? I miss her on her afternoon show. Gretchen’s contract was not renewed with Fox because she filed sexual harassment charges against her then-Fox boss, Roger Ailes.

Louisiana Seafood Festival

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — This weekend, 4 of my granddaughters (true cajun-dining experts already), myself and their moms enjoyed the Louisiana Seafood Festival. We ate bbq shrimp, stuffed oysters, alligator, shrimp/grits, charbroiled oysters, and more. My son in-law and 2 grandsons kept busy with skating, bicycling and other physical activities.

What a Nice #Party

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — I am remembering a recent party at which I had a grand ol’ time. In fact, everyone had a grand ol’ time. There is a short video of me that I may add to this post in the next day or so. It will make you laugh. I have to decide if the video makes me look like a defect, at which point I may decide not to post it.

Everyone is standing in line above in order to enter into the festivities. They do not realize yet what fun is in store for them. I plan to put up more pics soon. Plus, below, here is a thought for Tuesday afternoon after the New Orleans Saints big victory last night.

 

Speaking of New Orleans (haha), I read this afternoon that drinking beer may be good for your bones. Isn’t that great news for New Orleanians?
