Yes, I Got Liked

Look at the surprise #notification that I received last night from Twitter:

A miracle surely did occur inside my house at 7:10 pm New Orleans time on Friday the 13th (May, 2016). I will write about it here at my http://www.DeleryGazette.com blog at some point later this weekend because the effects might not quite be finito yet. In fact, I will go off right now in order to re-ignite my Catholic novena candle so that I can fire up more miraculous power from the good #Lord

Also, I was searching this morning for some stuff, and found some very interesting Chinese names.

Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz’s 600 delegates could possibly insist at the Republican convention in July that their votes actually count toward Ted Cruz, hurting Trump’s luster and bluster at the convention. The runner-up himself could minimize his support of Donald Trump if Trump sets an ugly tone towards Cruz’s rights to give a convention speech as the runner up. Plus, there are 3 other possibilities which could or might rear their ugly heads at the Republican convention.

The vote for Trump’s vice-presidential nominee could become contentious. There could be a fight by true conservatives to plug into the platform some of their policies; or, God forbid, some delegates could insist upon a rules change disallowing the 8-state minimum wins in order to nominate anyway who has won delegates. In New Orleans (in other political news) is it illegal for a judge to give a man jail time in a closed hearing from inside a closed court room?

The eleven-day sentence handed down by a local judge has kicked up some controversy in New Orleans. I have truly supported and backed this judge politically in the past. In fact, I have been a grand supporter of his for many years. I plan to read the bulk of paperwork from this case because there has to be something more to the story than reported publicly.

Jessica Simpson’s Mini-Skirt

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — After further review of Jessica Simpson in her mini-skirt, I have decided that in my professional opinion she is doing just fine with her workout schedule since her pregnancy. She has bounced back well.

Jessica’s wrinkled dress does not truly matter in this lovely picture of her. She has been working out a whole lot, and it is showing.

Jessica did well getting herself back in shape after her pregnancy.

Plus, we have to learn to be careful what we click. Facebook asked if I wanted to forward my posts to Twitter also. Good idea? I dunno’… all of a sudden, my Twitter feed is crowding up with tweets from me. I clicked yes to forward my Facebook posts. However, are my Twitter followers suddenly seeing too many tweets from me?

Shallow Tweets & Oblivion

NEW ORLEANS (Gazette) — I check my tweets daily, but I wonder if other tweeters find that most of the tweets that they carouse through are mostly banal #claptrap. I usually check my tweets after I endlessly search my Facebook newsfeed for something to sink my teeth into. Once the wonderful Facebook or Twitter do not satisfy my thirst for exciting “knowledge,” I then turn the TV on and flip over-and-over through the hundreds of banal cable channels that I have. After my joy finally screeches to a horrible, ugly halt I then go to the kitchen and eat myself into oblivion.

Here is the tweet that presently sent me into such a downward spiral.

You just know that I had to tweet a reply to @MsSassySue. She never did reply back::

Speaking of the A-Word, I read an article by The Daily Beast this morning that is so very interesting to me about the inner thoughts of a young model. These young models start out their careers at such young ages, and reach heights of celebrity so quickly that many of them have hidden insecurities.

Here are some fresh words of wisdom which Arianna Huffington tweeted. She is quoting German author Eckhart Tolle whose teachings I am about to begin studying. Thank you, Ms. Huffington, for introducing me to Eckhart Tolle.

Is this girl not beautiful? What will her next role be? Charlize expresses here a thought that is very similar to what Arianna Huffington tweeted. In with the new; out with the old! The present, the freshness of the now, that is what keeps life exciting and vibrant.

Miranda Rights and Boston Bomber

Yes, Boston marathon bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaiv does have an American right to his Miranda rights and a good defense. I know; but deep inside I feel that these high-priced, celebrity lawyers who win their high-profile clients/criminals light sentences (or freedom) need to be strung up too. I think that the victims of many horrible crimes are violated again when justice seems to give the murderers and criminals more rights than the people whom they kill and maim.

I’m just saying. Unduly light sentences and getting off Scott Free are results that allow many criminals to have little fear of the scales of justice.

I Don’t “Get” Twitter

Ferdie Werdie shared a link from a 60 Minutes tweet Re: the creator of Twitter.
– – I learned a different aspect of Twitter that might help me like it a wee bit more. I don’t “get” Twitter because there are so many tweets worldwide per minute that …well, anyway, there are too many tweets. This morning I read what the creator-of-Twitter’s concept was when he invented it. This kind of gives me a new, helpful perspective on Twitter …somewhat.
