Spring Time

Many states already had “trigger bans” written up for when the Supreme Court voted to outlaw abortions. That way their state would already have laws written up making it illegal immediately.

Supreme Court voted down abortion.

The Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade on Friday sets off a cascade of antiabortion legislation that will affect roughly half the country.

Without the landmark precedent in place, access to abortion began to change quickly. First, 13 states with “trigger bans,” designed to take effect if Roe were struck down, will prohibit abortion within 30 days. At least eight states banned the procedure the day the ruling was released.

These states were ready, waiting on the ledge to ban abortions.

Ferdie (January 5, 2023) — On the 7th vote for Speaker of the House, Rep. Matt Gaetz voted for Donald Trump.

MEANWHILE… It is spring time, and we are all hoping for easier times after this long stretch with the pandemic and the issues with the gun control. It is time for love to be in the air. Dog is man’s best friend.

They say, “Dog is man’s best friend.”

Speaking of man’s best friend, I saw that according to Science Magazine, actor Robert Pattinson is the most attractive man in the world. My scientific metrics are currently working out who is the most beautiful woman. To stop my metrics machine at this point for a moment to see who is coming out first right now, my study says that Sofia Vergara is tops.

Most attractive man.

According to how the numbers are playing out currently in my metrics study, Sofia Vergara is polling out as the #1 most beautiful woman. In fact, I wrote a story about Sofia recently. I will look it up and link it here.

My Metrics Machine says Sofie #1 woman.

Why would the deplorables want to elect a president who committed insurrection against his government? Joe Biden is 10,000 times better than Donald “Traitor” Trump.

I do not believe this.

I love crawfish, especially crawfish bisque which I ate last weekend.

What’s up with Nick Saban? Is he sensitive/hurt since Tennessee beat his #sissy team this weekend? Click the link until I can embed it. I loved ❤️❤️❤️ watching Alabama (6-1) lose. My opinion is that Saban needs to lose more often. Plus, Tulane (6-1) is now ranked in the top 25 and LSU is not. Alabama is ranked #6.

GAZETTE (Match 30) — The New Orleans Saints have picked up QB Andy Dalton to back up Jameis Winston. Excellent move! I like this very much. Former backup QB, Taysom Hill, will now be used mainly as a tight end. I love the move with Andy Dalton. Now, Jameis Winston will have to have a good year for these moves to pay off.

Geaux Saints.
The 2022 season.
Oh, my goodness...

The New Orleans Pelicans are playing the Lakers on Sunday night. I am sweating bricks. The Lakers might want sweet revenge for that major butt-whooping that the Pelicans laid on them last month. Good God almighty!! UPDATE: The Pels beat the Lakers in an exciting game, and are now riding a high “wave.”

I think that I like this video below. Last week, I posted a still picture of this young lady. Now, thank God, she has put out a video of the photo session. Lovely!

Sorry to drag @rickygervais into this but his jokes at the Golden Globes were brutal. BRUTAL. No one slapped him because…well…he’s a comedian. @chrisrock didn’t deserve this and Will Smith ruined what should have been one of the best nights of his life. https://t.co/obXKy7qPed

Please don’t leave me, Jada.
Oscar and Globe jokes are brutal. Will Smith is low class.

My thoughts on entering crawfish season in Louisiana:

I definitely have something to say about Gov. Ron DeSantis’ book-banning and blocking of classes on Critical Race Theory in Florida schools. What I say below explains some of it. You can see the link sitting above “Add a comment“.

Below, after the Sofia Vergara picture, I explain my deep love for old-school movies and pictures… Firstly, Here is a link 🔗 to click (shown below also) which I am trying to embed here. I am searching for words to describe the precarious state of the world today. Russia’s evil leader, Vladimir Putin, has the world on the brink of Armageddon. Jesus Christ walking on water.

The story of this Civil War couple touched me.
He died at Battle of Bull Run.

Two weeks after his last love letter to his wife during the Civil War, this man was killed at the Battle of Bull Run. All of the lives lost in making this country what it is, it is a sin and a shame that insurrectionist, traitor, seditionist Donald Trump is perched to announce in July his candidacy for President of the United States. Trump has served no penalty, has answered no questions to the Justice Department, has gone completely “Scott free” over the January 6th insurrection.

DELERY GAZETTE (October 19) — Why am I afraid of the New Orleans Saints looking bad on October 20, 2022, on Thursday Night Football? I am afraid because both of their starting quarterbacks are hurt and may play subpar or be in a grand funk.

From Da’ Bears.

I remember when the Saints brought QB Andy Dalton in from Chicago to back up Jameis Winston. So, Winston got hurt; then, last week, Dalton hurt his back. He is scheduled to start on Thursday, but is not 100%. Plus, three of our star wide receivers are out. I will keep my fingers crossed that the SAINTS’ win.

New Orleans (Oct. 27, 2022) — Jim Mora, Andy Reed, plus many great, genius coaches emphasize to put your best quarterback in the game. Play the quarterback who gives you the best chance to win, ride with him, stop the in-and-out baloney which derails momentum. At QB you need timing and momentum. Start your best quarterback, and play him exclusively to get “timing” if you want to be a winner. Decide if Taysom Hill is a tight end, a running back, 3rd-string QB or any and all of the other positions. That is fine. However, at QB you need timing to maintain momentum. That is how the great, winningest teams did it. Let’s pull Joe Montana in-and-out all game. THAT WOULD BE STUPID! #JoeCool won 4-for-4 Super Bowls as Mr. Clutch… not with in-and-out silliness, but by staying in the heat of battle and riding with his momentum.

In January I wrote...

Come on, Donald!

I have some words below from 2021 about NFL running back Adrian Peterson’s release from the Tennessee Titans. For now, I have to look up some stats concerning today’s top 25 College Football Playoff rankings. 1.Georgia. 2. Ohio State. 3. ‘Bama. 4.Cincinnati.

Needing a haircut.

My #exWife used to cut my hair; she is very good. My daughter who lives across the lake has trimmed my hair very stylishly too; but who feels like driving across the lake just for a haircut? Plus, my #exWife would “accidentally” stab me in the head occasionally while cutting my hair; and she clips very fast and recklessly around my ears often drawing blood. No, No, No! I do not need her with any sharp instruments anywhere around my head. So, I am looking at stores and on the Internet for nice electric clippers.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 2021) — The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they have waived veteran running back #AdrianPeterson. The Titans signed Peterson to the 53-man roster on Nov. 5. He carried the ball 27 times for 82 yards and one TD in 3 games. #WoeIsMe! Could it be his age? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10222957023967246&id=1028059611

The Tennessee Titans brought future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson aboard to try to fill the gap left by Derrick Henry.

The Titans waived running back Adrian Peterson and signed WR Golden Tate to the practice squad, the team announced.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that it’s possible Peterson could return.

Peterson was signed by the Titans in the wake of Derrick Henry’s foot injury, which required surgery and put him on the shelf for most of the regular season.

In three games with Tennessee, Peterson compiled 82 yards off 27 carries and scored one touchdown. The 36-year-old stands fifth on the NFL’s all-time rushing list with 14,902 yards upon his release from the Titans.

GAZETTE (Sept. 11, 2022) — Why do I like old school cheesecake pictures? I like old school cheesecake because it is not gratuitous like some of the pictures today. Do you remember that they brought Bettie Page to court in the 1950’s? The government singled her out and persecuted her for her pin-up pictures which today are fine and dandy. The government persecution of Bettie eventually led her into a mental institution.

Old school.
This next picture is Bettie Page in a field.

Bettie had a prolific modeling career with many iconic and popular pictures. Then, the government singled her out by filing charges on her for her pin-up pictures. The persecution by the government eventually caused her to have a mental breakdown.

GAZETTE (June 14, 2022) — Should Opie decide for himself? Sheriff Taylor (Andy Griffith) had these words of wisdom. “You can’t let a young’n always decide for himself. He’ll grab at the first flashy thing with shiny ribbons on it. Then, when he finds out there’s a hook in it, it’s too late. Wrong ideas come packaged with so much glitter that it’s hard to convince ‘em that other things might be better in the long run.”

26April2021

I want to thank my readers and subscribers for visiting the DELERY GAZETTE to read a little bit. There are some things in the news that I want to touch upon. I will add to this article as I write my thoughts on some of those issues. I want to write about the Academy Awards which everyone is chiming in on. While I am waiting on the NFL draft on April 29 I have been watching some volley ball.

…the players themselves had fun.

Now, here are some of the Scrolls that I am writing in my “Captain’s Log” from my desk. I posted them here raw and just like I wrote them. If you have questions you can ask them in the comments box at the bottom of the post. Thank you!

These are some of my recent Scrolls for my next book:

These Scrolls which I originally wrote in my Captain’s Log at my desk are now more-or-less rough drafts of what I want to enter into my book. I will do much editing and cutting before they are “book ready.”

14April2021, Wed.

0827 hrs. >>It is supposed to rain this morning. I ate breakfast and drank coffee already. I want to put another intro at the top before I publish the book. They say quad summer. Note Early Years

Should we tell MAGA Christians that this is the true face of Jesus, produced by computer generated synthetic intelligence — based upon information compiled about him? My question is: How accurate is the science?

Jesus Christ.

Next, Seeing my high school yearbook picture (second picture below) brought back many memories. I am at the top, left in the picture. However, before going there, I will write about a funny incident about watermelons (first picture below). For my job, I was on a mission at Cape Kennedy working some last minute ‘touches” on the Space Shuttle before a launch. During our stay at Cape Canaveral, my job gave each one of us employees a condo with nice, large kitchens and refrigerators. In the meantime… (to be continued later).

A Watermelon story!

Meanwhile, back to my yearbook picture for now… Once I hit college, I grew my hair longer and was like a run-away freight train on the loose. All of the many pretty girls at the U. of New Orleans drove me crazy. I heard my dad tell his friends on several occasions, “That boy better slow down with those girls before he hurts himself.” Now-a-days in the twilight years of my life, I lie down in bed at night racked with guilt. I want to say that I am sorry. It was not until I was older that I learned that you are supposed to save yourself for marriage. No one ever told me that the Church commands us to avoid pre-marital shenanigans. Who knew? I cry in bed at night sometimes wanting to say, “I am sorry…” to all of God’s sweet creatures who put their hearts into my hands.

When I was in high school I was more serious and reserved. The only thing that is the same now is my music. I changed 180 degrees after I took drama and speech electives at the U. of New Orleans. I was in some plays, and more-or-less changed. Yes, I obtained a sense of comedy.

My senior yearbook.

Seeing my senior picture also reminded me that I wake up at night sometimes in a cold sweat wishing to God that I could express my sincere “mea culpas” to the women. MEA MAXIMA CULPA, as the Catholic repentance goes! Maybe in heaven I will be able to have my apologies reach the correct ears (their ears). In the Old Testament they did penance with ashes covering their brows and wearing torn garments. FORGIVE ME, WOMEN OF THE WORLD!!!… for I know not what I do!

My opinion is that James Franco looks like James Dean.

I guarantee you that James Franco could successfully play James Dean in a bio pic (if he has not already done so). I just flipped to the movie GIANT from 1956 and James Dean looks just like Franco.

Question, A RETWEET: When it comes to women, what would I prefer? A teenie bit of #romance, and a pocket full of #money; or hot romance, and my money flying out of my pockets willie-nillie? My answer…

Drewwwwww!!

Less Butter

Someone told me to start using spray butter sometimes instead of the sticks. Why? I will then eat less butter, and lose unnecessary weight.

Spray butter means less weight.

George Armstrong Custer lost his life and everyone’s life in his battalion of the 7th Cavalry at Little Bighorn because he wanted only himself and his troops to attack Sitting Bull’s village. Why? In order to capture young Native girls for his carnal pleasure for the journey back East.

In his previous mission Custer killed everyone in the village except 17 young Native girls whom he dragged back East to rape and to share his tent during the march. All Companies of the 7th Cavalry were supposed to rendezvous at Little Bighorn before attacking, but Custer disobeyed orders because of lust for the Native girls and personal glory. Custer’s body was found with an arrow shoved up his penis which the U.S. Army did not reveal to his wife.

Hey, y’all, I am having fun filling out my March Madness bracket. I have #8-seed LSU and #2-seed BAMA winning in the 1st Round. I even have BAMA going to the Sweet Sixteen… maybe even the Elite Eight. Some experts think that BAMA will make the Final Four. Once I fill in all the slots on my Times-Picayune sheet, I will go online to finish my online bracket, and maybe win the $millions or a car or a trip. Who Knows? However, most likely not!

I am doing my bracket

Here is the schedule:

This video (below) is too funny. Just like a cat. It is almost amazing how typical it acts.

Sitting Wolf

GAZETTE (New Orleans) — The Play-In game (PELS vs. Lakers) will be played at the home of seed 9 team which is New Orleans for right now. The winner will play the loser of the seed 7 vs. 8 game ( Den vs. Clippers). The winners of the Play-In games will then go to the playoffs as seeds 7 and 8 with the losers eliminated and going home. Then the regular Playoffs tourney (Round 1) 7-game series’ will start: 1vs.8, 2vs.7, 3vs.6, 4vs.5.

To my brother, Carl: Look at all of the teams lower than New Orleans and Los Angeles (pertaining to the draft). I feel sorry for the 7 and 8 seeds who used to go straight to the playoffs without having to play the 9 or 10 seed. I think it is unfair to 7 and 8. The pandemic is over now. Why not go back to the old system now.

The PELS are seed №9.

UPDATE to last week’s NBA standings: @Carl Delery >>I hope that you are not mad at me for our discussion last week about the standings for the playoffs between the Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans. Look where the Lakers are now; they even fell out of the play-in. So, they might not make the playoffs; but the NBA still has seven games left to play. Just click that picture below to enlarge it where you can see the standings well. Just click the picture!

Standings as of Friday, April 1

Last week in PELICANS versus Charlotte, a referee threw out one of New Orleans’ players who was shutting Charlotte down. I have not watched the Pels since last week when that bad call by the refs cost them the game vs. Charlotte. New Orleans fans are still sensitive to bad calls since the refs rudely cost the Saints three Super Bowl appearances recently. The PELICANS were running away with the game. I immediately changed the channel. Herbert Jones did not foul roughly, but was thrown out of the game anyway. I, just this minute, saw that New Orleans lost. I could not watch anymore after that bad call. The referee gave the game to Charlotte. That might change New Orleans’ whole season.

@Carl >>Did you say that someone told you about the metrics of the Anthony Davis trade deal between Los Angeles and New Orleans? I know you did not figure that out all by yourself. That is some deep mathematics. Yes, the Anthony Davis trade involved stuff like that. However, I was talking about the playoffs scenario not about any confounded draft picks. Our argument here reminds me of the SAINTS losing out on QB DeShawn Watson to Cleveland. So, the SAINTS yesterday gave QB Jameis Winston $24M/2 yrs to return to New Orleans. Cleveland gave Deshaun $230M, plus they gave Houston a bunch of 1st round picks. The SAINTS got Jameis back at a bargain basement price, and he might just bring us to the Super Bowl.

Note:

COMING SOON! I will write something about my two brothers and my dad. What I want to say stems from a post that my brother wrote (linked below). His post inspired me to want to say, for example, that both of the houses that I lived in at my marriages were made possible for me by my dad. Plus, likewise, it is such with the very house that I live in now. Thusly, I think that my dad’s spirit/virtue has passed down from him onto my brothers.

Now, back to my Indian name:

My Indian name is Sitting Wolf. I may have a little Indian blood in my roots, but I also have some French-Cajun ancestors who fought with Sitting Bull at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. They wore cuts from their Mardi Gras Indian costumes and blended in with the Native Indians. My Cajun ancestors were angry about how the Yankees had been carpetbagging in Louisiana after the Civil War. Summarily, the name Sitting Wolf passed down to me likewise to what I explained in my article at DeleryGazette.com entitled King Farouk III.   https://delerygazette.org/2020/11/02/king-farouk-iii/

About my ascendency to the throne of the ancient King Farouk Dynasty which I explain in the article, I succeeded Fuad II who was the ninth mystical ruler of the ancient Muhammad Ali Dynasty and am in the lineage of the penultimate King of Mount Zion per the Caribbean Sea.

Sitting Bull posing below with Buffalo Bill, 1885

Buffalo Bill, known for his Wild West Show that featured Native American men and women, struck a partnership with Sitting Bull in 1885 when Sitting Bull performed on his show for several months. Sitting Bull lead his people against the US government at the Battle of Little Bighorn (among other battles).

After he left Bill’s show, the two remained friends that lasted until the end of their respective lives. Sitting Bull ended up going back to his tribe after the show in support of his tribe’s Ghost Dance movement which the United States looked upon as insubordination. The U.S. ended the tribe’s Ghost Dance ceremony with a massacre of the Indians.

Arapaho woman called ‘Pretty Nose’ sitting for her portrait at Fort Keogh, Montana, 1879

A photographer captured this image of Pretty Nose, a woman who was a member of the Arapaho tribe who was a war chief who took part in the Battle of Little Bighorn.

Pretty Nose

There are those who stated that she was a member of the Cheyenne tribe, but what she wore identified her as Arapaho, thanks to the black, red, and white cuffs adorning her. She lived well into old age, so much so that she was able to see her grandson, Mark Soldier Wolf, become an elder of the Arapaho tribe.

That American war plane looks beautiful flying off of the battleship on its way to mete out some American justice. Where are all of those great American heroes from back then who now would surely not allow these deplorables and sedtionists to drive a stake into the heart of our American justice.

… red-blooded thoughts about this warplane headed off to mete out some good ol’ red-blooded American justice.

Here below is a video showing my jambalaya and how it turns out. I cook jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp stew and other Creole staples occasionally. See the video below for my jambalaya.

My Jambalaya!

This is my jambalaya.

My Cooking is Often Ruff.

Shockingly, I have not poisoned myself yet with my cooking during the pandemic. Normally, in regular times, one of my loved ones (like my #ex-wife, my daughters, my son-in-law, etc.) invites me over for pork chops, steaks, lasagna, grilled ribs, gumbo, shrimp stew and such… on almost a daily basis. Or else, every day I drive to one of my favorite creole/cajun restaurants for #worldfamous food… I cook at home often too if necessary. However, my cooking could gag a maggot; but you “got to do what you got to do.” Oh, I forgot, my sister Karen too brings over/ drops off her fine cuisine sometimes too… or my brother Carl and his wife pick me up every morning for lunch when they are in town. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10221056963626925&id=28059611&sfnsn=mo

This is known as my crawfish pie.

Best New Orleans PoBoy

The seditious acts by the Republican Senators today is the work of a priviledged class of irresponsible despots, authorized tyrants and bloodsuckers who fasten upon the flesh of oppressed blacks and draw political power and consequence from the gall of their penultimate legalistic jiglisms and crimes.

>>I printed up page 1 of my notes. Now, I have to get my coffee out of the kitchen. Oh, to get back to my birthday steak, gumbo and happiness. I told my daughter, “Gracias, hija”!! Hija is the Spanish word for daughter.

1909 hrs. >>I am getting ready to watch some football. I feel the weather getting a little bit cooler. I will put on a hat, and put the heater on medium. I ate a meal with my stomach now cramping up a little bit. I am feeling stress. I am contemplating here on lying down for a brief moment. The cloud is fuzzy with some of the things which I saved. >>>What happened to the Mardi Gras story? How am I supposed to eat a New Orleans fried seafood po’ boy if I cannt eat bread or fried foods?

Conundrum!

December 29, 2020

1544 hrs. >>Getting ready to watch a movie. I want some sweets. Without sweets life is rough!!

December 30, 2020

I am still not figuring out how to work this cloud thing correctly. I am sure that I will figure it out. When?

January 1, 2021

1527 hrs. >>My insides are messed up today; I sipped on 1/2 glass of White Lightning Moonshine yesterday. I am turning into a lightweight. >>The Rose Bowl is coming on in 29 minutes. I might enjoy that. I have to figure out how to transfer my writings from my touch screen to the 2020 computer. One idea is to copy it onto DELERY GAZETTE as a draft. My plan is to print a page out once it reaches the 9.5 mark. However, to send a digital copy to 2020, I will put the digits on DELERY GAZETTE.

January 2, 2021

0446 hrs. >>Everything is all messed up. I moved some files from my A6 phone, but then it looked like it shut down. Now I am moving some files to the Samsung Cloud. I do not know if I will ever see these files again. I put the chip in the computer, but it never did show up in the folder. I have to lie down for a minute because I am cold and feeling tired.

1123 hrs. >>Looks like I cleared some files to give myself some free memory on my A6 phone, Now, I will check the papers to see what games are on TV. Meeting in the championship game next week will be OHIO and ‘BAMA.

1858 hrs. >>I texted my daughter to wish her Happy Birthday. This evening is a boring affair. The Pelicans are on TV, but I flipped to the DNA show. Sigourney Weaver is one of the guests. I did not remember her being 6 feet tall. She is Scottish and English. Tomorrow has several excellent football games coming. I want to take a break from writing mystery stories to write some biographical stuff.

I was born December 27, 19??. ?? is a year that I love. Numbers and how they fall have a lot to do with much that I base things on. Some of my favorite things have the number ?? intertwined in them in some way. History comes to life once you start delving into some of the things that lie on the surface. That is how different layers of your life begin to unwrap. 1818 hrs. >>The SAINTS look like they will be the 2nd seed which will play Chicago in Round 1 of the playoffs. Tampa vs. Wash; Seattle vs. Rams.

January 3, 2021 2156 hrs.

Okay, the Saints are on their way. Next Sunday will be fun. What the hell is going on out there? I am having a little bit of trouble typing because I have a bandage on my right index finger. I cut it on a piece of glass leaving a gash. Meanwhile, since this football squeezed my day, I will try to find something good to watch on TV.

2317 hrs. >>I am getting closer to understanding the saving of this digital stuff. Meanwhile, I am going to save some more of the pictures from my phone.
