Glory be to God, and then…

Gazette (Dec. 13, 2025) — Happy Birthday to my four December siblings. I found an oldie but goodie picture of the four of us, but I am looking for a recent Now picture of us that I wanted to post. Meanwhile, I found this picture⬇️ taken recently of two of us. So, I have to find a picture with the other two (my sisters).

Gazette (Oct. 20  2025) — I was happy with today’s announcement of who won the 2025 Nobel Peace Price. In fact, I do not think that a better choice could have been made at this point in time.

Meanwhile, I still list the video ⬇️ as in/work which I reference in the link below. It is fine. However, I want to clean it up a tad bit more before I call it finished. I will notify you here once I get it totally corrected and finito.

On the left ⬇️ we see Bunny Wunnie №2 who seems invincible, and who can do whatever crazy/illegal stuff he wants. This Bunny Wunnie can spend billions of taxpayer dollars willy nilly for his own desires (the WH ballrom, for example) while taking away health care from millions of citizens. Woe to justice in America.

Then, I want to move on to a more classic topic ⬇️ that has been around for thousands of years.

In the article that I wrote below at Boscoville, I am referring to the Mardi Gras poster at the link⬇️. Like I said, the Mardi Gras poster at the link is one of my favorites.

I will write (in the next day or so) what I think history will say of our current times. Who knows whom history will be kinder to.

We can see the kind of man Donald Trump is by how he treats the children caught up in his deportation raids. People in California started protesting Trump’s immoral and illegal raids. So, Trump’s answer is to send in thousands of National Guard troops and Marines. Oh, my God! This is an invasion of California by insurrectionist Trump. He is a Nazi criminal.

God Incarnate

Incarnation (or The INCARNATION) means that God took human form in the body of Christ. The doctrine is based on the paradox that because God was incarnated in Christ, Christ was both fully human and fully God at the same time. For Lent, I am studying this much more deeply.
BTW, The Church festival commemorating the announcement (Annunciation) of the Incarnation by Gabriel the Archangel to Mary is held on March 25 (Lady Day).
How often have I driven on and parked on Annunciation St. in New Orleans from the Crescent City Connection to the uptown Walmart w/o ever making that miraculous connection in my mind?

GAZETTE (New Orleans) — When Mary accepted God’s offer to bear and give birth to Jesus (Conceptio Christi), the Word (of God) became one of us. God became “incarnate,” with a body like ours; hence the name Incarnate Word. Because of His resurrection, the Incarnate Word continues to dwell among us. The Resurrection is celebrated on Easter Sunday.

Conceptio Christi is a Christian holiday commemorating the visit of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, where he announced that she would give birth to Jesus Christ.

Going back further, even unto the Old Testament, this boy (below) wants to know how people inhabited the earth.

His daddy had already told him that people multiplied from Adam and Eve.

I recently saw in a cartoon on TV that the show had a diverse cast. See a minority in the picture in the bottom row, left.

DELERY GAZETTE (April 30, 2022) — These are 2 of my granddaughters who are now in high school (L) and grammar school (r). Their sister (the middle one, Dori) is now in junior high school. She is always busy outside enjoying sports or in the back yard in the middle of a project.  Since we are in “festival season” in Louisiana, I will bring a sack of crawfish, a sack of crabs and my crawfish boiling pot and burner to their house for them to boil a delicious seafood boil for me and them.

Women who heard about my book eventually piled up on me and “flipped the script” in order to win the rubber match (like Ali’s Thrilla In Manilla, except I lost). Now that I am old, I am not driving women crazy. I stay locked up in my house, dreaming and longing for the good old days. I might write a new book before I die and maybe call it WOMEN WERE FERDIE’S DOWNFALL!

This lady is fine, and I have become  a big fan of hers. She might be on a series on TV presently, but I do not know the name of the show. I am waiting to see if she comes out in any movies in the near future. Her star is rising.

This is another foxy lady whom I admire. I have not seen her much on the Internet lately, but I will search to see if she retired or what. I used to see her regularly enough on the Internet. If I can find out some information on her, I will come back in and let you know. Maybe, she retired.

This is a cute picture of Melania Trump. I am not sure yet that I will post it to the DELERY GAZETTE. I think this picture was juxtaposed against the pictures of all of the other recent first ladies dressed more formally. I am referring to the picture below of Melania relaxing on the airplane. She is a lovely lady. Yes, Donald is a lucky man.

Here is a picture of my brother and sister who have taught me (Ferdie Werdie) many lessons in life. Among those lessons is that it is sometimes important to stand up for your rights and dignity in this world. Too many people want you to just lie down and be stepped on. I have seen my brother and sister stand up for their rights, and I wish that I could be as brave as they are.

Answer About My Dreams

My brother, Carl Delery, asked me several questions recently which I will try to answer here. They are fine questions.

Carl asked:
So, your dreams have beginnings middle and ends? Do you have actors play the parts and even roll the credits at the end? Are all your dreams theatrical productions or maybe some are game shows? If so, do you watch the game show dreams to the end, like the movie dreams, and announce winners?

Ferd, it sure sounds like you have fun in your dreams. You probably even get to surf through the productions. Do you have instant replay where you can cut and perfect the performances? What do you do if one of your actors get sick, do you have stand-ins? Wow, that’s a thought. Do you have stand-up comedy or musical performances? Man I’m soo intrigued! Who is your favorite performer, is she the redhead? Do you have Shakespeare plays also (To be, or not to be. That is the question.) Is ‘Lil Red’ in Lady McBeth? She must be in a lot of your dreams; King Kong, Pretty Baby, Paper Moon, or in your case Paper Mars (I’m gonna send my wife to Mars.)

I saw a report this morning on the local news about how the trend of many people moving back to the Big Easy after Hurricane Katrina has changed. In my opinion, it is the high taxes, myriad fees and fines, run-away crime rate, government overbearance, inaccurate/incorrect traffic cameras, etc., etc. I dunno’. New Orleans has the highest taxes in the country which all add up to making citizens here feel like victims more than ever. This local government is not user friendly. It is literally totally user un-friendly.

There is an old Buddhist saying which reminds me of Donald Trump and his #minions. The Buddhists say, “No matter how much you wash a turd, it will not come clean.” Trump and his henchmen will never come clean even when their lies are exposed. We can see with our own eyes that the National Mall at Trump’s inauguration was nearly empty. Yet, he maintains to our faces that he could see millions of people that day from the platform on the Capitol steps. Trump is the historical definition of a turd.

Ferdie Werdie in Deja Vu

GAZETTE (Sept. 22, 2025) — In 2006 (post Hurricane Katrina) I was an extra in the movie Deja Vu which was filmed in New Orleans. I recently saw the movie on cable while flipping through channels and caught my main scene. I was reminded of when I first saw actress Paula Patton on the set and we laid eyes on each other. It was my first time ever seeing Paula. I have been a fan ever since. I truly got such a big kick this week upon flipping to the channel right before my big scene came up.

I cannot wait for lovely Paula’s next movie to come out. Also on my mind (in other news) is now, with Carolina meeting Denver in the Super Bowl in February, 2016, I want to update my article on the playoffs.

Over the weekend, I somewhat accidentally caught my first Mardi Gras boat parade on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. The parade was lovely and I had an excellent time. The parade was by the Krewe of Bilge.

I also love my University of New Orleans. When will the state and the LSU Board stop treating the University of New Orleans like a stepchild. We were supposed to have our Division 1 football team by now, but Gov. Bobby Jindal and the LSU Board killed the funding. I am ‪#‎mad‬. Can the team plans be resurrected now that we have a new governor with vision and are now governed by a new/different board, the University of Louisiana System?

I was working for the Shuttle program when the Columbia accident happened. I will never forget the shock at watching from the NASA plant at work the Shuttle go down.

The Best Crew at NASA

There is a case to be made that this is the best crew at NASA (pictured below). I also posted a picture of me below in order to throw myself into consideration for that same honor.

Here is a picture of myself because I now throw myself into the mix of Best Crew even though I was a crew of only one. Sometimes I have to give myself a pat on the back in order to lift my spirits. I am alright too; I am good at stuff.

My thoughts on Donald Trump leading the polls: With the primaries around the corner, I have decided to follow Donald Trump on Twitter. The very first ‪#‎real‬, hard copy vote of the 2016 race will be cast in Iowa on February 1. Then, we have primaries in New Hampshire and S. Carolina. Only then is any vote actually real. Then, this stuff counts; and now I begin to study ‪#‎DonaldTrump‬. The real polls begin; the rubber meets the highway… Only ‪#‎THEN‬! Some of the earliest primaries are listed below.

I think that I get the point of the below tweet. Is Hillary looking at what I think she is looking at? Plus, who is the girl? She looks like a cutie pie to me. I plan to study the tweet a little bit further in order to find out who the young lady is.

The Donald has received so much media coverage that he has to spend little money on his campaign. I think that this is more luck on his part than planning. He is just fortuitous with how the media has deluged the public with publicity on him.

This weekend we can look forward to four excellent wildcard games. The AFC contests are on Saturday, and the NFC contest are on Sunday.

Star Wars

Note: I am about to write my review of the new movie The Danish Girl. Plus, I will explain how I happened to see the movie today in the first place.

This is a picture of Alicia Vikander, one of the stars of The Danish Girl. I first saw her in The Man From U.N.C.L.E in which she was the Bond Girl, if you will. The Danish Girl along with Vikander opened to excellent critical acclaim.

Also, once I see the new Star Wars movie, can/will I keep my mouth shut about all of the plot secrets and plot twists that the movie’s makers have kept so close to the vest? I have relatives and friends who are just waiting to do me harm if I open up my mouth about the new movie. UPDATE: I saw it, and I am keeping my mouth shut. Except, (oh, oh)… I have to say that if you can, I recommend that you see the IMAX version. I bought a ticket for the 3D-only version because it was the first showing in the morning. However, I accidentally stepped into the IMAX screening for a moment after getting some popcorn, and discovered that the IMAX audio is outstanding.
