New Orleans (2026) — Picture the fear of waking up on Mardi Gras Day in New Orleans and finding no one around. NO ONE!! Did I wake up dead? No! I am referring to the opening scenes of my book. That is not a real-life scenario.

I am explaining here why I took on the cloak of the Big Bad Wolf after I wrote my book. It is now a tradition of mine to mask as the Big Bad Wolf on  costume holidays. This tradition began after I wrote about “a monster” in my book, I HAVE A DREAM!

GAZETTE (OCT. 31, 2024) — It is Halloween time. I am masking as the Big Bad Wolf (not pictured here). I will find for y’all my picture of me masked as the Big Bad Wolf.

I will look up the date of this picture, but here I am leaning on my dad’s headstone some years ago on ALL SAINTS DAY. That is my sister facing the tombstone. I have told relatives that I have at times awaken at home with the ghost of my daddy sitting on the edge of my  bed… my grandpa Cates too. I just said, “Hey,”… then they left.

I explain here why I am the Big Bad Wolf. It is a tradition which began after I wrote about “a monster” in my book, I HAVE A DREAM! Ever since “the monster” came alive in the first words of my book, I have masked as the Big Bad Wolf. People thought that I was writing about myself anyway. The Definition

Definition: the Big Bad Wolf does what he does. That is not an actual legalese definition, but I think that you get it. The Big Bad Wolf is one who goes after Little Red Riding Hood. That is his job.

Guests on LET’S MAKE A DEAL often give up nice winnings to go for the big deal. This afternoon a lady gambled a fine, expensive vacation; and won a fridge instead. If I ever won a nice deal, vacation, money, car why would I even think of giving it back to go for the big deal? A bird in hand is better than two in a bush!
