So, two birds that weren’t really chickens created and hatched a chicken egg, and hence, we have an answer: The egg came first, and then it hatched a chicken.

Research by the Chinese has confirmed one of Darwin’s chief arguments about the chicken: It descended from the red jungle fowl aka the Gallus gallus spadiceus.
